Love the piece. I almost want the game to have some form of loading time just so we can see some kickass splash screen arts.... maybe just an unlockable gallery with tons of fanarts like this. Awesome work!

@fall_ark: Actually i like the zombie. It has the little strokes for high recognition value thing going on. I know you didn't even mean the pic to be good, but usually things get better the less tense you are about the result

@PeaceChaser: My avatar is just the boss "the avatar" from the game. I never could resist such puns...
I'm quite a noob at pixel art actually. I guess i gathered a little bit of theoretical knowledge by stalking the wesnoth forums for a long time, but that's it
I think Derek Yu was said to have good tutorials, if you are looking for an entrance into pixel art. Or you just get inspired by the awesome graphics of desktop dungeons

Awesome Nandrew! There is a special place in my heart for pixel art and this... to me this is beautiful. *tear*

It also supports the idea that a great idea with "passable" graphics can become an amazing game. I've had a game idea I've wanted to try for years but the fact that "I art no can" has held me back.

Haha, my art has always been AWFUL, but thankfully there's always people in the indie gaming community who are patient enough to deal with my visual nightmares to get to the meat of the game.
