Not sure if this is the right place to post this but the DDwiki seems to be in the process of being destroyed.

The frontpage is blank and hitting random page brings up a whole lot of different spam pages.

Sorry if this is the wrong place but since the address is from qcfdesign.com figured this was the best chance of sending up a flag.

Looks like the frontpage was fixed since you posted this.

But yeah, spammers are a huge problem on pretty much all forums and wikis these days. Unless someone is constantly monitoring the wiki and constantly monitoring the forums, you're going to have a lot of spam pages on the wiki, and a lot of accounts on the forum with links in their sig (they'll make topics unless you explicitly stop them).

I hate them

This is why the official Wikipedia doesn't allow everyone to edit the content, and there's a Discussion tab at the top so people can communicate to the ones who can edit the pages.
A random page would never get to the Discussion tab, always to the article itself.
It doesn't fix the problem, just hides it from plain sight, which makes reading a bit more comfortable.
I don't know if it's also the case with newly created pages as is the case here, but maybe this information might help, I thought so.

Just so you guys know, there's an unsung hero behind the wiki this whole time: Gentlegiant's been nuking the spam and cleaning up unwanted pages for nearly a year now. I'm pretty sure he's the one that fixed the wiki again recently.

Dude needs a medal, he's been putting up with us being too busy to insert captchas and the like for a while now.

at the wiki they say that when you join dracul then the halpmeh glyph disapears, and i cant edit that page, so is this a bug, or mistake in the wiki?

Hmm. He should remove the glyph if you're carrying it. Did you try to pick it up and see what happened?

It does remove the glyph when you try to carry it. You can convert it off the floor for your racial conversion bonus though if you remember and don't just pick it up on instinct.

Then again, if you were carrying Halpmeh before your joined Dracul you could remember to convert it first too... hohum

when i picked it up it disapeard.
