This is a noob question but I'm guessing you can't use dracul to get a lev 11 and assassinate bosses
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Based on the strategies for the new dungeon I'm reading, I'm thinking a lot of people may agree with my next statement:

Dragon Shield and Trisword are both way too good and warp how the game is played. I now know that I'm not the only one who has the "Take Dragon Shield, find a Trisword or die" strategy for the harder levels.

And while talking about equipment, I think that the Witchalok Pendant and Martyr Wraps are useless and could use some significant changes.

It's not just the assassin; just about every class is converting APHEELSIK on sight. Even the venom sword is kinda meh right now, and most of the classes I used to prepare it for are now using Trisword and/or Dragon Shield.

The Tri-Sword does kind of make the non-human/Orc races and nerfed Monk a lot more viable though by letting them regen fight, something they normally can't do. Though this definitely feels like band-aidish.

Though honestly the old Tri-Sword was more interesting, even though it was super niche. Eh.

Trisword makes lots of sense for humans, since it stacks exponentially with their attack boost bonus. Even orcs get a nice linear stack out of it.

I'd agree the old trisword was more interesting, but it was pretty much a rogue-only item.

Just beat Naga City again as a dwarf thief. I used dodge instead of blood shield this time and performed even better! I didn't even need to desecrate all the alters to win (still using Agnostic Collar, though). As much as CYDSTEPP Rogue was my first thought, damage resist thief seems to be the best approach here. I've now won twice with varients of this tactic, and with pretty crappy glyphs both times (entered end-game with only BURNDAYRAZ; some of those bosses would have been pushovers if I'd have had HALPMEH).

The end-game seems to work best with some combination of GG, Mystera, and Dracul. Use your potions while under Mystera and use her cheap refreshment after finishing off a boss. With essentially 8-10 mana potions, you should have no problems building up to 100 piety. Switch to glowing guardian and use protection a few times, then convert your glyphs (no more mana to spend) for whatever piety they're worth and jump over to Dracul to blood swell your way to victory. Desecrate the other alters as necessary to facilitate your jumping.

Minor suggestion. With the HALPMEH glyph, while it shows how much mana you'll lose from casting it, there's no corresponding health boost like when you drink a potion.
