I think the Efreet suggestion could be a pretty meaningful race if it were changed to a permanent boost of one fireball damage per level. Not sure what the conversion rate should be (maybe 200 points?). But as it is I think it's already difficult to give elf and gnome comparable playtime relative to each other, and introducing a third caster-based race only makes that worse.

What I'm much more interested to see is how the race building upgrades will work. Does anyone know what the plan is for that? I haven't the faintest idea what they would do, but I like the fact that the button is there.

Or instead of 1 per level, it could work like the Orc. +1 total fireball damage for the first conversion, +2 for the second, etc.

Don't care what the bonus is, just give me kobolds.

Reptilian kobolds or canine kobolds?

Answer wisely.
You can't cut back on kingdom funding. You will regret this!

I wasn't even aware there was reptilian kobolds. Doesn't sound very appealing.

Anyway, yeah, the dogs. :D

There are also humanoid kobalds, for that matter.

(the mythical variety of kobald I was first introduced to was something akin to a really malicious gnome)

Great idea Zaratustra, although Minotaur monk could be cheap.

Also, would Minotaur work in Vicious subdungeons like the underworld or naga city arena

Angel: 25 faith for 75 CP

Would be really OP with Glowing Guardian and Dracul while simultaneously being almost useless for Binlor, Taurog, and Tikki Tooki. Enlightenment in particular would be totally broken for an Angel, which could (very easily) have it by level 1.

Minotaur: Covers up 10% of dungeon for 100 CP

I'd make it a pre-set number of tiles rather than percentage based. No reason to penalize a race on smaller dungeons. Biggest problem I see is the randomness of this one, and the fact that it would be very stupid to convert anything before the map is completely uncovered.

Good point on the enlightenment. That would really make the angel cheap, perhaps 10 faith or 200 for god indulgence?

Indulgence is very niche. Gods don't punish you unless your piety falls below 0, which for many gods and class playstyles just never happens in a realistic scenario, or if it does happen it's a systemic problem and you're just going to get penalized repeatedly.
