Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup

Im very intrigued by this game but I have a feeling it is too complex for me to comprehend. What is the learning curve? Would you recommend it?

This is an incredible game. It is a challenging rogue like you have to learn over time, but keeps giving out more and more interesting twists the farther you get. It never stops being interesting, but it can take years to win. Like a real rogue-like.

Very good game, definitely worth trying. Hard to win. Expect to die a lot.
