Lost Progress Between System Saves

I've been playing Desktop Dungeons at work (PC) and at home (Mac) and I can't find a way to sync my progress between the two games. I thought I was able to by clicking cloud sync? I lost my progress on my Mac, and I tried syncing with my PC which was further along (since I play a lot at work ) and now I lost that process as well.
Very frustrated, but I still love this game.
