Steam-Version: Account creation issue

Hi there, and thumbs up for this great game that I bought on Steam yesterday.

I wanted to enable the cloud sync option from the start screen of DD and tried to link my steam account, but that fails.
After logging in on the steam page and confirming to connect, all I get (after a while) is an empty page.
I tried it yesterday and today, several times, but nothing changed.
Any ideas?

Finally, after many attempts I made it.
I used a virtual machine with Windows 8.1, fresh Steam and DD installation and IE as browser.
No idea which part of the chain was the essential one...

Wow, sorry about that Fisherman! As you say, who knows what part of that chain wasn't working!
