I found myself in a sub-dungeon.
When I attacked myself, the game killed me.

Had you just hit an enemy that had blink with a fireball in the dungeon above before you went down? That's pretty much the only thing we can think of that would have caused that crash. Thanks for finding it!

I followed your advice by going back to the same dungeon, and didn't use any fireballs this time.
Luckily, the same sub-dungeon appeared too.
I was able to kill myself without crashing.
