IMAWAL doesn't give me extra XP

It says it gives an extra 50% on the next kill, but it gives me the same amount of xp as if I hadn't used it. What gives

Are you sure it's not giving you bonus XP? If you're comparing the projected XP gain on the bar, that takes the bonus into account... The only other situation I can think of that will end up with you not getting bonus XP is if you kill a lvl 1 enemy with it active, as the game should round the bonus XP down (half of 1 is 0.5 and we round defensively).

Keep in mind that attacking plants counts as a "kill" worth 0 XP, so your extra XP is wasted in this event, and you may not have noticed you lost the benefit.
