v0.21 BUG - Fire Heart

The Fire Heart is not correctly returning health upon the death of an undead creature. This may be restricted to Vampires - I haven't seen the item again yet on other classes - but I can't think of any good reason why it should not work for that class.

Whoa... I'm inclined to ask if you're sure, but I'll test it out as soon as I get some time (read: after E3). You should totally get the health bonus from vamp kills.

I am. I was at the start of a Hive run, and the level 1 mobs I had available were a Gorgon, two Vamps and a Goblin. I also had a level 2 that I could kill in three hits. My plan was to slug my health potions, hit the level 2 (dropping me to 1 health), kill the first Vamp, hit the level 2 again, kill the second Vamp, then finish off the level 2 to ding. However, after killing the first Vampire I was at 1/11 health.

I have tried recreating the situation with a Vampire, but no joy yet. It'll be easier for you to do it anyway, as I presume you can muck about in the code to make every shop generate a Fire Heart?

I can confirm that this bug was around in 0.15, as well. Vampire does not benefit from fire heart.

Ok, sounds like a relatively simple omission bug, thanks for reporting it! Will get on that when I'm back from E3 and have some time to devote to the freeware again.
