Desktop dungeon: Codex erased

Postby Dwarf on Tue Apr 28, 2015 6:12 pm

Hello guys, I have my codex erased. I still have all my classes, buildings and races, but all the objects, monsters... are lost (passed from 69 objects discovered to the 9 my tinker possess). What can I do? if you have a cloud back-up, any save from today or yesterday would be fine if possible.

Happened to me as well when I started the steam version when the update came out and I decided to use the cloud save instead of the local one.

It isn't due to the update. And it was saved on the cloud...

It was the update. We'll be releasing a patch fix soon.

Hello, are there any news on the patch? I've rebuilt most of my codex by now, but certain entries (for example the bankers) simply cannot be found again once the corresponding quest has been fulfilled. It would be very nice to at least have a patch that adds codex entries based on already fulfilled quests. Thanks a lot!

That would kinda be cool! Some of the early progression bosses, as well as some of the items ('Tea', etc.) only appear during the very early stages of the game. Also, since the codex is kingdom-specific, it's not possible to re-codex these things by encountering them in an early stage kingdom belonging to the same account...
"Thinker", just without the "ache".
