The common Android crash that you might be getting is due to the game not having write permissions for your storage. Some systems/tablets don't allow the app to set that, so you'll need to grant those permissions yourself. Once you do, the game should run fine!
Also note that while the game runs on phones with smaller screens, it might be massively frustrating as it's explicitly designed for larger devices.
