DD Gaming Profile Deleted

Greetings,

I could use some help with a problem:

Yesterday upon loging into the Desktop Dungeons, the Unity-client crashed, created a new profile under the current name, that I was using and thereby deleted all of my previous achievements completely, making me restart from scratch. Is there any possibility to restore my profile, because - even though it is a game in beta status - it would be really frustrating to lose all "the work".

I'd be grateful for any assistance with this issue. Thank you kindly in advance.

That's really strange... It shouldn't have done that, hopefully the impending update will help prevent that sort of issue from recurring.

As for getting your progress back, I'm afraid not. We warn people that the beta is not going to be a data-secure place for players: We hope to keep your progress while you're playing, but we can't guarantee that progress won't be reset by us at least once during the beta.
