Balanced dagger:

Absolutely. Looks like a really interesting item but I've only used it a couple of times in low-XP levels.

Gloves of Midas
Yep. Much as I love this item, CP value probably too high.

Venom Sword
Yep. I never use it.

Whurrgarbl / Martyr Wraps
Agree on whurrgarbl, don't have martyr wraps.

Strength Potion
Hm, I've been using it a lot lately but only on level 1 characters, where a trade of 10-11 mana for the same base attack is very useful. At higher levels it is pretty useless except as alch. scroll/trisword fodder.

Martyr Wraps cause you to inflict 1 point of corrosion every time you attack. This works like burning, except it never terminates and has no cap. Overall they're better than Whurrgarbl, but share the same fundamental issue.

I respect strength potion as a tool for level 1-2 characters, but it seems wasteful to me unless comboed with Trisword and/or Alchemist's Scroll.

As I've mentioned in the other thread, I find Whurrgarbl to be BETTER than Martyr Wraps and quite a solid item.

However, it does suffer from the lowered burning cap. Despite it being one of my favorite items, I certainly wouldn't object to it getting a secondary ability :) The best choice would probably be some base attack.

As for Martyr Wraps, it really is redundant with Whurrgarbl. Perhaps it should have a resist down effect instead?

Maybe Martyr Wraps could have an effect every time you take a debuff?

How about +2% every time you incurred a debuff. That'd be great for monks and the slime pits.

Weird... the extra DR could be a bit abusive as a 1 damage Vamp. Also, the corrosion seems a bit good for monks. 5 corrosion is reasonable for a level 10 monk, who would now be regaining 30 per tile.
