Makes me wonder what the intended solution is.

Well, my solution relies on knowing that hitting another enemy triggers burnin, while the other solution relies on the fact that you get +1 exp from stoning a slowed enemy.

And for the record, my solution doesn't require any luck either

Probably the +1 from stoning stuff as that relates more to EM.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Well the easy way to kill my solution is to have the plants manaburn instead of poison. The way to kill the other solution mentioned is to up the damage of the boss.

Think my solution must be the same as Gorgon's. Also 100% reliable.

SPOILER

1. Petrify top right plant.
2. Plantation
3. Clearance, Entanglement, Vine Form (so at level 2 you can take 1 boss hit)
4. Weytwut a level 1.
5. Convert two glyphs (Imawal and Weytwut) so you deal 6 damage
5. Kill the other two level 1s.
6. Drink potion
7. Wonafyt.
8. Kill the last level 1 to level up.
9. Fireball the boss
10. convert all glyphs except Getindare
11. Hit the boss
12. Getindare
13. Win.

IIRC.

I can't play right now, so can anyone tell me just how much burning slows monster healing by? I'm wondering if a sufficient burning stack can stop regeneration altogether, and if so whether we have a viable alternative to poison in Whurrgarbl...

Oh. That's not that great. I was hoping burning stacks/2 or something.

Interesting. This will make order of attack more important than ever, since you're going to want to rig your attack passes to end with burning still active.
