Heh, I was very close and I just wasn't getting the right combination of attacks to pull it off. Definitely way too unforgiving in its current form.

Glowing Guardian 1
1) Attack the level 2 Zombie once
2) Kill all the level 1 Zombies
3) Use absolution
4) kill the level 2 Zombie
5) use protection
6) kill the vampire

Not much to comment on. It's more straightforward than it appears at first.

Glowing Guardian 2
1) Kill all the zombies (using your healing potion)
2) Attack the troll
3) Explore to fully heal
4) Convert your venom dagger
5) Purchase the humility boon
6) Kill the troll
7) kill the vampire

I quite like this puzzle; it does a great job of showing the things GG dislikes, as well as how to leverage humility.

Glowing Guardian 3
1) Kill the level 10 zombie, using your potion in the process
2) purchase humility, absolution x2
3) kill all the level 10 zombies
4) kill six undead monsters (bringing you to 100 piety)
5) purchase enlightenment
6) kill the goat, the dragonspawn, and the remaining undead creature to level up
7) use absolution three times, then protection, then cleansing
8) kill the vampire

This puzzle needs work; it's way too finicky about getting the sequence exactly right. Purchase the wrong number of absolutions at the start or the end and you'll come up short on either HP or piety at key points in the puzzle's sequence.

A bit late on this, as apparently another solution has been found, but this one is mine :)

GNOME 3!!!
1. Weytwut on wraith, collect 3 mana potions
2. Drink 2 mana potions, Weytwut on meat man, collect burndayraz and 2 health potions
3. Drink 1 mana potion, burndayraz on wraith, attack twice to kill (losing death protection)
4. Move to top right, Weytwut on serpent, collect sword and shield
5. Hit zombie once, hit meat man twice
6. Use 1 health potion, hit serpent
7. Convert everything but weytwut: potion, sword, shield, burndayraz, netting 2 mana potions
8. Drink 2 mana potions, Weytwut on zombie
9. Collect 2 mana potions, kill zombie
10. Drink 2 mana potions, Weytwut on meat man
11. Kill meat man, kill zombie. Both are slowed, granting a bonus 1 xp per, leveling you
12. Hit serpent twice more, Weytwut on serpent, kill serpent

Whaddya know! The puzzle isn't broken after all. I am sad to admit this took me 10 days to solve.

Thanks for the feedback, though I'm surprised the veterans are confused about this puzzle. :P It's the same standard solution as always, albeit a (little) simpler.

That said, not simple enough. Still trying to find a way to make this moderately easier without breaking it entirely.

Definitely a helpful suggestion! But I'm extra concerned if it's flummoxing experienced players, particularly those who have presumably run through the puzzle packs before (often more than once). ;)

Was there some Gnome 3 puzzle exploit still in existence until recently that I somehow missed out on? I distinctly remember plugging a few reported gaps before, thought I'd had them all.

Yeah. What really got me was that I got the boss to something like 6 hp. So I assumed I was on the right and made slight edits to my level 2 strategy instead of trying to reach level 3.

A hinting Gnomish Haiku:

Boss killed at lev 3.
You must kill two slowed monsters.
Use WEYTWUT a ton.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Perhaps a hint sign about lvl3 would be helpful without going too overboard. I think the puzzle gods would forgive us.
