Bug reports (Spoilers ahoy!)

Take note! After some head-scratching about most of the bug reports this week, it seems that our most recent round of problems was caused by an older, incorrect version of the game being uploaded to the web on Friday!

Thanks for the reports, the utter bafflingness of some of these problems actually helped point this out. At the very least, the issue will be fixed in the coming Friday's update.

One more tiny request: please change the "Less Glyphs" prep name to "Fewer Glyphs". It's driving me just a tiny bit crazy.

Haha, I think this is a part of the aforementioned problem. Pretty sure we fixed that grammatical snafu a coupla weeks back.

I had to search the forums to figure out how to send you an image! Activate image uploads for this thread so people can actually do that! Or have some instructions somewhere!

Uhhh, not quite sure what you mean? This forum uses pretty bog-standard IMG tags for its pics, as below (it's one of the button options just above the reply text panel when you're composing).

The poison boon crashed my game. There was no error message. The whole game just crashed.

Any God Boon Crashes the game right now via Chrome and Firefox.

I can confirm that god boons hang the game. I just verified with Taurog/Skullpicker.

The effect plays and piety drops, but then the game freezes and browser becomes unresponsive. The Unity Player spikes the processor (and leaks memory rapidly), and on Firefox I had to kill the plugin-container process to restore responsiveness to the browser. I can't imagine it would work well with any browser.

Argh, crap, thanks for mentioning tho -- I know what's going on here. We pulled down the outdated version and got the up-to-date one sorted, but it contains its own little issue which I only discovered on Tuesday and must've made it into this replacement build somehow.

A terrible week for issues, apparently.

Just booted up the game; aside from the white text labels everything is just black:



(edit: completing a puzzle seems to have fixed the issue, but it recurs whenever I log in)

Crashed after playing a simple Venture Cave run (score screen appeared correctly). Attempting to "return to kingdom" just causes the same crash message to appear again.

@Darvin: Welcome to the recurring problems with Chrome. Those two crashes are so very well known to me Working with Unity at the moment on those.

Bugs up to here logged and many of them nuked, thanks. The Taurog puzzle complete although dead thing was actually a much wider problem. No idea how that survived for so long...

Hate to make your life more difficult... but that was with Firefox.
