I don't know if my "sucks at DD and almost never posts" status makes my point more or less meaningful, but I feel dwarfs are the least powerful race. I also think elves (with crystal!) are great, so take that opinion with a grain of salt.

Agreed. Beyond specialist strategies, I ignore them. They're boring and weak. Then again, the simplicity does help newer players I suppose (like in the case of Taurog).
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

Aww, poor dwarves. So boring.

I feel like they aren't in the game so much as to provide an interesting or different path as much as because you 'have' to have a health based tank dwarf in every fantasy game.

Maybe, but you shouldn't include something broken or ineffective just because it conforms to some standard. Desktop Dungeons is a game that mocks the standards.

Dwarves are not just stout, but known for being master craftsdwarves. Maybe that angle would be more interesting?

Would a stacking regen bonus along with the max health help? Like +10% health regen with each conversion. It would make a different type of regen fighting. And dwarf monks/palandins would be awesome!

Light hearted dwarf rant below, need a way to laugh about it :D

Really, game? Really?

How are you "preventing any any one guild from having dominance" if you're giving all the fun to dwarven assassins? ? ? ? How about a nice dwarven priest? I don't remember playing many (any?) of those... Or a crusader of some kind - haven't done many of those either... I'd take a warlord, even!

I mean if someone looked at my profile the numbers might even say say it's working as intended, but if this is intended, can someone intend something else, please? Just about every flaming run I did should count towards the times I've seen a dwarven assassin in the PQI and wanted to avoid it for a short while... Doing venture cave and the den with 100% completion in there just to make dwarfs go away is not fun at all :(

And right now I'm stuck with either doing this, or the flaming CO, or relogging, but then I'll just run into the dwarven assassin in a run or two, poised to kill my will to live  Or the goblin thief, always on the lookout for new ways to grab my time and run away!

Is the PQI even counting runs and combos you did for it in the calculations? Because I think I will be getting these even efter I've cleared every dungeon with a dwarf assassin. I've had an inordinate ammount of goblin thieves as well, but this is simply ridiculous. I'm quite sure I've played enough of them by now to overtake paladins and warlords, except that I've played more "nasty combo" dwarf paladins and warlords than any reasonable ones. At least I found more reasons to...

EDIT: Funny story - the game was hitting me with so many dwarves week before the vicious token update. So much so that I had this reaction: PQI finally sends me up with something thats not a dwarf assasin, and I go: "I'm not falling for that! I'mma screwing YOU over PQI!" and almost take a Dwarf Assassin on the flaming run instead to grind them out of the system. Ended up at least rooting the goblins out that same way by going around all the vicious token dungeons with them.

EDIT2: Btw, the badge is warmonger, go figure. Because what else? At this rate I will have played assassins everywhere and not one of those a goblin :D Come to think of it I'm not even sure I've used APHEELSICK with assassins more times that not, also because of the PQI  I did it too, wasn't too hard
