So... is Scholar's Pact still functioning for the Goatperson then? Could have sworn that wouldn't survive.

Good to see JJ being made tolerable for this guy.

As for Magma Mines / Specialist, I'm still holding out for them to get reverted back to resistances and specialist to go back to its original implementation.

@Lujo: Piety changes that got cancelled by indulgences still appeared in the log. Someone reported that as a bug, so it's gone. I have no idea what the issues with Taurog's Equipment punishment were, but it probably just wasn't activating when you converted his stuff. The only enemy in the game that gains pacifism is the meat man on the first tutorial.

@Lujo: I didn't even realize there was a problem (I tend to avoid converting Taurog's stuff like the plague), but I guess so.

Since the taxidermist came up in this update, I thought I might raise a point. The economic meltdown isn't very evident. The biggest economic hit I got was beating Horratio. Seriously, I'm not even sure the prices change except when you keep getting more trophies, despite it saying there is a sudden drop in prices. If anyone is working on an unfinished profile (not all trophies collected), I'm curious to hear what they think about how evident the story/economic hit is.

The trophy reward reduction hit me very hard on my first profile.

I'm a grind happy gamer, so my impulse was to buy as much as I could before seriously approaching any newly unlocked dungeons. I also failed quite a few runs, and when you're doing that, preps can get expensive.

Profile #2, I wasn't short of money until I started trying to buy locker slots.

That makes sense. My understanding of it was the more dungeon runs you won the more the prices dropped. I suppose it really would screw a grind happy gamer, but anyone scared by the supposed economic meltdown wouldn't even notice it. Also, does the game ever say you are supposed to get all of the trophies? Watching Jay play through has made me think it really isn't clear that you are supposed to do that. Heck, the only reason I knew is that I read the devs post about it.

Shifting Passages is too hard with Goatperson.

I tried it several times, but he always starve to death.

How about enabling to change items, glyphs or golds to foods?

Yeah, the largest problem I find with him is his extreme propensity to STARVE. Seriously, it makes WONAFYT a miracle. Shifting passages just makes it worse. Ugh.
