Allow me to join the "The new map is awesome!" bandwagon! Seriously, great job as always, I love it.

Actually, during a quick look through a new profile (wanted to see what the map looked like at the beginning), A thought came back to me which I *think* I might've brought up a bit earlier when the interface changes started: When selecting a dungeon, the information panel immediately shows the completion data for the dungeon (classes, badges, quests), hiding the dungeon's description. While this is fine on an advanced profile, I really feel that the text should be fully displayed when selecting a dungeon for the first time/before it's been beaten once. This is both because the description sometimes contains relevant information for the dungeon(such as the "difficulty" suggestions in the first 4 directional dungeons) and because it'd be a shame to miss the often excellent flavour text :) Not a huge deal, but in my eyes it would be an improvement.

Anyhow, now that I have 2-4 wins in every Vicious dungeon, I'm currently banging my head against the walls of Vicious Gaan-Telet... I can't seem to make it past the sixth or seventh floor though. I'm really torn between asking for thoughts on the strategy I'm using or just keep smashing my brain against this most ridiculous of dungeons... It's kind of making me think I should record my runs like Jay does to get yelled at by The Avatar XD

Getting yelled at is actually pretty helpful. I still haven't beaten VGT though :/

Yeah, it really does come off as shouty... I promise I'm not actually shunting. Just emphasizing.

On the topic of the map, I would support one third state of each dungeon for 100 (or 108, or whatever you call 18+1 and 10+1) for each dungeon. Since that would probably be a ton of art, even just some gold start sticker on it or something would be great.

Also, on the topic of VGT and the map, the way the VGT section of the tower lines up with the regular tower seems off. It looks like it is floating above it instead of an extension of the same structure. A minor nitpick, but something I always notice and dislike. Maybe it's just me.
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

It is floating. It's a giant magical tower that phased into existence ;)

Heh, that is a great strategy. I tend to lean towards Taurog (sword and armor)+Pactmaker into Drac, but I've used both.

The strategy you didn't win with is very creative, but I totally agree with you about mana. I always had a tough time with mana heavy classes (I got my fighter VGT win before sorcerer OR wizard), but then I discovered the fabled "Punchomancer" and that pretty much made the wizard an easy win.

Congrats!

Gotta say that the Witchalok Pendant is really not talked about too often and it's bloodly hilarious. I ussually unlock it, pick it up all the time for a while, get bored after a while and start picking other things up, and then later run into it and destroy something with it and wonder why I don't pick it up more often. So big props for for acknowledging it :)

Also, on regular VGT runs I prefer going with GG, pretty much regardless of class (with a small handful of exceptions and an acknwlegment that Binlor might be a better deal overall). But Cleansing is such a thorough solution for so many things in there that it's ussually the only thing I ever take (apart from a heal or two, maybe), and just rack the piety up for the usual Taurog into Drac res-stacking nonsenese.

And, err, I won't hijack the thead either :D
