Well since it is still very early in the week I propose an alteration in the challenge run. Since a lot of people have completed it already and I think the idea was to have really big sword make it so you didn't have first strike against anyone here is my proposal for those who did this run with no problems:

Alternate Nurator Run

Dungeon: Rock Garden

Preps:
Ticki Tooki
RBS
Any

Classes
Any except
Rogue
Assassin

Restrictions
Must worship Ticki before first kill
Cannot convert RBS
GETINDARE must be converted as soon as it enters player inventory

This is just an optional second challenge run. I haven't tried it yet, but it looks like fun to me, and I think this might have the spirit of what Nurator was trying to do the first time (without the significant health disadvantage that comes with rogue unfortunately)
What do you guys think?

Jay, I just beat your Alternate Naruto Run challenge. Was a bit tricky and I thought I had failed towards the end but managed to persevere. I played as follows:

Race/Class: Elf-Thief
Preps: Tikki-Tooki, Bet on Boss, Extra Mana Boosters, RBS, Apothecary, & Shadenfreude, Quicksilver, Reflex, and Mana potions

The random boss that spawned happened to be Bleaty. Kind of a tough third boss, as I wasted my Quicksilver potion early on. Essentially, all I did was keep my piety high enough so as not to piss off Tikki-Tooki, then about level 5 began using Tikki's Reflexes.

Oh yeah, and no, I'm not Québécois there Schachter. You're dealing with a born and raised BC native.

UPDATE: Just beat the Magma Mines challenge run using exactly the same strategy. It was actually a bit easier as I used my Quicksilver properly this time, and being able to kill lower level enemies with no piety loss was a boon.

Just uploaded my solutions to this weeks challenge run. I really like these past two challenges because they have focused on 2 gods that I use VERY rarely and made them HARDER to deal with.
Now that I've dealt with them a bit though, I've rather come to like Ticky (even if he was a huge pain in the alternate run where I stacked 14 weaknesses), and I am now decidedly neutral towards Jehora. Whereas before I was more or less negative towards him, I see he has some merit now if found early. . .I've still never managed to use Chaos Avatar.

Anyway have you guys built up some great challenge run ideas for next week?

I did the alternate challenge
gnome bloodmage
preps:magnet fireball

general strategy for early game: get tikki's edge asap, kill higher level enemies with just burndayraz+bludtupowa
went to tikki and tributed twice, just short of tikki's edge(+1 xp/kill), piety blocked by walls
got to level 2 and then get tikki's edge, found pisorf and used it to help explore, took pactmaker consensus to get another tikki's edge, bought pendant of health and used mana potion to kill lvl 4 dragon
got to level 4, converted pisorf to make space for bloody sigil, probably could have regen fought a lvl 8 wraith and won but settled for a midfight levelup kill, killed a lvl 7 dragon using a mana potion
I was level 6 at this point, took dodging boon for the gold to buy mage plate, used midfight levelup to kill physical resist boss
after exploring to heal I found binlor and desecrated, I was nearly out of exploration and wanted to go to subdungeon but it was blocked off by high level monsters
my next target was Frank the zombie, I used burndayraz and blutupowa then levelup, now out of exploration I converted blutupowa and bought pendant of mana, burndayraz and mana potions were enough to kill Frank
I converted mage plate, magic resist boss was easy to take down with quicksilver/reflex from tikki and a few bloodpools, I had plenty of piety so getting hit wasn't an issue

I was worried when I saw Frank was the random boss but I had enough resources left at the end (bloodpools, health potions, piety) that I probably could have won even against super meat man
tikki doesn't penalize you for getting hit by plants
overall my run was not lucky or unlucky, could win reliably with this setup

some ideas for future challenges:
magma mines
worship a different god for each boss kill
(or if you haven't unlocked all the gods) kill first boss with god A, second boss with god B, third boss with god A

dungeon???
desecrate every altar as soon as you can path to it
autoconvert agnostic collar

any hard/vicious dungeon
goatperson
prep +gods, patches, no locker item
(excludes people who don't have the dlc)

Okay, here's my video for this week's challenge!

http://youtu.be/7CLaiksV8B0

I'm a bit embarrassed with it, to be honest. My playing is terrible and it's pretty obvious I'm distracted and not paying enough attention, but I kinda rushed it since I'd just realized I'd forgotten about making it. Oh well, the strategy I used is kinda broken, so hopefully it should be funny to watch me win despite terrible play :P
