You're preaching to the converted about JJ, he's definitely one of my most used deities, I just didn't really see any specific synergy with the dailies. I fact, I find it somewhat more intuitive to prep no-downside, no piety-farm deities like GG or Mystera for the dailies, despite being a heavy JJ user otherwise. Maybe that's not optimal play, though, because what you write does seem to make sense. What I find hard to assess, though, is whether there would be any map in the dailies that is unwinnable without JJ, because if there wouldn't be, then taking even a little risk might be too much if the situation he would help avoid anyway doesn't come up...

Adding to the JJ discussion, in all my time worshipping JJ I've never once felt crippled by the punishments you can get before affording petition. It can cost you cheeky, but he's still one of the most reliable deities, his boons are essentially free. Didn't take him for the elf wizard HoS run just because I wanted to do a parched clearance spike.

Took him for today's, with the cauldron his weakening and corrosion are a free +10% recovery on potions, and that's on a halfling thief. Pretty much took the boss out as soon as I found him, 2 dings, chaos form, some pots, could have probably gone parched if I took time or at least remembered to use Namtar's ward.

I chose to go for Parched/Hoarder rather than for a top time. Level-up catapult with Binlor desecration for a Chaos Avatar capstone. Blew my apothecary on a fortitude tonic since I got poisoned and weakened twice at the first level.

A rather sedate run because I forgot what the dungeon/boss was, also messing around working out how much I could catapult.
