Vampire's a dangerous class, but Southern Swamp is pretty easy so it wasn't a real threat. I'm sure you could have done this purist just fine. There were plenty of bloodcows and HALPMEH was on the board. We're overdue for another "weeding" dungeon like the Goatperson or Halfdragon ones that resulted in heavy casualties even amongst vets.

Halpmeh was pretty great, yeah. I don't think I like Vampire. I don't have him unlocked yet, and I don't feel like I want to unlock it, either... well, maybe for completion sometime...

Everything works against you. You want to do damage, but not to your cows... You need resists to stretch your health, but you can't worship... It took me forever to find any glyphs at all, too. I went counterclockwise halfway around the map when the other direction would've been an early fireball. I was halfway around the map at level 1... I guess blood pools matter a lot more than blackspace, though.

I spammed APHEELSIK on the boss and burned mana potions for it until he had 35 stacks or so. I had a couple of cows and some health potions, and I made it to 3 lifesteal (or was it 4?). Bought the can of whupaz in the store. It wasn't that hard at the end, but leveling up was kind of awful and saw me burning popcorn for dings a fair amount.

Vampire is probably the easiest class for beating Vicious Gaan-Telet, so I definitely recommend unlocking him. He takes a bit to learn, but he's a really fun and different class. You should see him with platemail.

Did pretty badly on friday's run, should have just gone taurog for speed, but I was feeling the earthmother paladin, tried that out on vicious steel a while ago and it was fun. 41st on the leaderboard by time, think that's the lowest I've gotten.

For today's run I wasn't expecting to do that well, southern swamp is fine and all, but I've never really played vampire outside of a trial run when I unlocked him. So I just kinda played him as I expected him to be played, but in doing so forgot to leave blood cows. Turned out fine though, killed the boss with a ding from 5 to 6, a dp from cydstepp, a dp from the badge, and fireballs, ended up just below Darvin. Could have probably gone for the fastest time if I had a better idea of my power at any given point, I ended up getting parched so if I went tighter on resources I could have started fighting the boss earlier. Went sub-1k total damage as well, think that's the lowest I've had on a daily.

^Even that is inaccurate, I tend to play the dailies pretty close to the end, so most of the time you'd need to add 2 :P

I liked today's DERP, since it was a walk in the park I did it Warmonger style. The amount of % attack you could prep was crazy, I could punch down the boss at lvl 5 with the help of some bloodcows.

Time today was not too slow, given I haven't played a vampire for months and months and months. Went for Parched and Warmonger to add a little flavour. Midas Gloves and subsequent convertathon. Fairly poor map layout and Smacklefunky's didn't give me the bloodcows I was wanting but nothing to complain about really.

I'm actually looking forwards to something that'll endanger my 100% win record.

@MTaur, Vampires are really good, excepting scenarios that are set up against them (VHOS stands out), if counterintuitive at first.
