Enlightenment, ugh. It never has enough time to pay off... Anyway, I thought I was in danger, but after I desecrated Binlor, used a Protection, and popped a potion at over 10 piety, I remembered that you get 3 punishment protections. I forgot all about that. It's not a close call, if you consider that, though if Binlor hadn't been around (or maybe Earthmother), then the Enlightenment derp might've been a problem overall. I really gave myself a little scare there. :-P

Yesterday was my first win in the cursed oasis since release, so I was very happy with that. I always get trapped in the curse realm. Let's see how it works out today.

Btw: Is it intended that the dailies don't count for completion?

My Enlightenment misadventure was so traumatic that I had to update the wiki. X-D

(Also, I never know what exactly to type when the wiki Captcha asks "who makes DD?" I type out tons of variations on QCF Design and it never works. idk if this isn't a good place to post the answer because it would aid bots or something, though.)

Orc Warlord of JJ... with Elven Boots. Excuse me while I go polish my ego. How am I tenth on time? I was basically asleep. Some impressive non-forumite streaks on the leaderboard.

Well..didn't win but a huge improvement over the other day on the same maps. Actually killed the cursed wraith and got a few hits in on the other baddy before I ran out of pretty much everything.

Really sucks throwing that last punch knowing you are going to eat it...but hey, some days that's what you get.

Something occured to me today. We have a FRIENDS/EVERYONE toggle on the leaderboard. Currently both options show all players.

Is there any way to select which users should show under "friends"? Or is this toggle more philosophical, the message being that DD players are essentially all friends? ;)
"Thinker", just without the "ache".

On the steam version, at least for me, Friends works fine, showing your Steam friends (and yourself) only. It should probably either do something or not show up on other versions, though.

Halfling Monk, Eastern Tundra

Possibly the most boring character to play?
Monk is always nice vs no magic damage bosses. Especially single ones on no curse maps.

Last time I played Halfling Monk was as a part of Halflings quest on Havendale Bridge. As a fresh DDer with little preps, it was pretty tricky. No damage, magic boss, curses and carefully managing blackspace being something I was yet to be aware of.
