I've actually run into the Half-Dragon/Vampire Chef thing before. As soon as I went down those stairs I was just like "NOPE" and walked right back out, especially after how not-necessary it was the last time.

Other than that, my run went pretty much the same way MTaur's did, only I did switch to BURNDAYRAZ over HALPMEH. Nothing really special going on, other than the silliness of Half-Dragon gardening.

Well, amused myself today by doing it purist and setting an arbitrary only-do-one-hit-to-the-boss challenge. Dragon cannon all the way.

Holy Deja Vu, Batman!

Knockback takes the day again, but at 175% today. Found Binlor hiding in the top right corner really late but still farmed plant bash piety, then switched to Drac for mop up health insurance.

I don't think I threw a single offensive spell in the whole dungeon.

Tried playing with the recipes in the chef dungeon...fun, but didn't cook anything properly.

Was there only that one subdungeon today? Couldn't find anything else.

Had a game of "bash the plants" at the end. Got it down to two left in opposite corners. If I hadn't converted fireball I could've gotten them all. :-)

I was one of the (very) few who went Dracul today. No top spots, I guess you can't compete with JJ for XP or Binlor for Piety, but the run was fun and the combination of Dragon's bonus health, extra health boosters, hero's helm and dracul's %-based restoration worked out reasonably nicely, health was never in shortage. The only glyph I used was WEYTWUT to pull monsters out from the remaining blackspace.
"Thinker", just without the "ache".

Couple of questions about the daily leaderboards:
1. Can you go back and look at the daily leaderboard after you exit it? Like, is there some way to go see a board from last week?
2. Can you search on it?
3. Is sorting by clicking the top column headings basically all you can do?

Thx

EDIT: Confused Western Jungle with Southern Swamp... Western Jungle is actually a lot harder, and pretty obnoxious.

OLD POST: I don't have time to do the actual run right now, but I saw the preps. Unfortunately, the three best are all in the same row IMO: Namtar's, Mystera (for Elf Tinker), and Compression Seal. You can never have too many compression seals when everything's at a discount. I'll probably get Namtar's, but I might change my mind just because Namtar's is slightly more high-maintenance and it's not a dungeon where you need to make power plays or be optimal anyway.

NEW POST: I figured I would just prep all of the scrolls and seals for the lulz. Getanadfix is actually the hardest Normal boss, and I had a closer call than I wanted. At least I had the sense to swap from Earthmother to Binlor while it was still early. Between Troll Heart and Alchemist Scroll, I did ok, but I was really having a hard time with potion supply. I really need to never get the scroll on a non-potion race again (unless it's Chemist).

I never found BURNDAYRAZ. I just kept PISORFing everything anyway, but my damage was never high enough for that to really pay off. If you have enough walls lined up, then at least you can get a big chain on the boss (who doesn't blink if successfully knocked away) without worrying about plants until you're ready for mana burn and another potion.

Mostly it was just a really sloppy run and a closer call than I'd normally have on Normal. I blame Alchemist Scroll, I think. Some lulz just aren't worth it.

gods on map: binlor, JJ, EM. And Yendor as item. And immawal on ground. I foresee some very high xp stat (i have reached one prestige lvl without even trying).
Anyway the map is pretty standard, nothing special. The namtar ward allows some very high level kill at beginning and the amount of cp can (+JJ) can rise the amount of mana very high (24 for me, i stopped to rise it when i could cast 4 fireballs)
