I took Bleaty down to zero resistance, it's nice to be able to kill him easily with only fireballs.

I didn't follow any of the complicated god strategies. I still get burned too often when I worship...a real weak part of my game.
Instead, I bought a victory.
Somehow over the course of my run I managed to accumulate 120+ gold. I lost track. Since the hidden dungeon was Fort Knox and I chose +1 gold per pile as one of my startups and I had the Translocation scroll it was just a matter of biding my time until I found the cool toys.
The biggest challenge was getting mana. Puniest magic dealing Blood Mage ever!
Eventually I converted a bunch of stuff and got up to 15 mana then I bought the Battle Mage ring and the Quicksilver potion.
Finally worshipped Drac and doubled up on the Sanguine.
I thought I was fried at level 7 but then the shopping spree put me on safe ground.
Oh, the other thing...the Agnostic Collar....bought that and immediately desecrated the other two gods, TT and GG. Felt good!

Venture Cave Bloodmage. I increasingly feel like this week's dailies have been an act of sarcasm

Purist BM is always a little bit of a risk, though, so I'll try that.

And...

Nothing very flash. Left Drac around for the late game and then used a variety of health restores and B2P Pisorf with a fully explored map to stick it to Bleaty.

Nice to see Darvin back on the Leaderboard, waiting for something fiendish to clear him a few spaces

i have noticed for the first time, the vampire in subdungeons leaves a bloodpool when killed. Is this a bug?
