I don't think Dracul is so bad on a rogue. It's better to convert in, and the prep penalty hurts, but lifesteal on a rogue is a fun way to get around your low max health. Of course today I picked dracul to go for low xp, after I'd messed around in Earthmother for a while. She does make killing Aequetas even easier. You have to be careful not to get trapped though:

That was after ONE use of entanglement, mind you.

Of course things were fine after I realized I had enough piety left for clearance.

Woo! I managed to play today. Rather than finishing with a good time (4:11, in case you're wondering) I chose to keep going and try to get as much piety as possible. At time of posting, I'm #1 for piety with 487. Played the dungeon with GG, converted to Earthmother after beating the bosses to get +100 piety from Plantation, then use consensus from Pactmaker for a free 50, then back to GG to convert everything I could find.

Human Bloodmage, Southern Swamp

Sword was a decent prep here, but space-hungry. After blowing all my cash on Whurrgarbl and Vamp Blade, I came really close to converting BLUDTUPOWA and BURNDAYRAZ and just APHEELSIK-fighting everything. I probably could've gotten away with it by just using blood pools on the boss, but I passed on it; I did convert BLUDTUPOWA though. I probably would have converted BURNDAYRAZ too if the boss had been better for physical poison-fighting. This wouldn't really be the best idea on a harder dungeon, but it would've been doable and it wasn't going to be hard to level up regardless.

Eventually converted from Dracul to Mystera to buff the mana potions and to make health potions acceptable. Dracul was worth it for Blood Shield alone, and easier to farm piety for than usual with Sanguine and Vamp Blade in place.

Well that was fun. Started off with the lvl 2 blocking my path, so killed some of those mana burning plants. Then when I wanted to click on the one shop, I accidentally clicked on the lvl 3 next to it. Poof... dead. At least I was only at one "win streak" after my Sunday loss.

i went purist (unwanted, i just click without thinking and then i was "mmm, i don't have prep"). Anyway, i had to use an early mana pot to have some space to explore, luckily burnydiraz was close and i killed the lvl2 warlock. From there, it was just a walk in a park. Probably i would convert to Mystera if she wasn't so hidden, anyway i killed the boss at lvl 6 -> 7 and then just clean the map.

Anyway, i have never found this subdongeon, after 331 hours played, it's amazing how you can still found something new
