I also had trouble finding BURNDAYRAZ, and spent a lot of time rummaging around at level 1. However, that was about the only bad part of the setup and everything else fell into place fairly well. I dealt with Goo first, primarily because I hadn't found the Apothecary to buy WHUPAZ for SMM. Goo went down to a mid-level catapult, then used a catapult plus chaos avatar for SMM. Still had plenty of potions, CP, blackspace, and blood pools left in the end, plus a keg in the shop.

BURNDAYRAZ was a real killer overall, it was in one of the last places I looked, while JJ decided to be really mean, and then I needed to find a health potion before I could actually make real use of him, given my lack of combat glyph. It hurt my leveling BAD. Fortunately Bloodmage is the one class that takes a dungeon like this and doesn't put you on a huge blackspace timer, and Goblin just makes creating stupid amounts of resources for bosses all the easier.

Goblin Bloodmage seems a pretty solid pick for The Slime Pit. B2P and mana potions on Goo and then empowered bloodpools with an extra ding for SMM.
It is good for every mana intensive boss followed by health intensive boss, but I guess only Northern Desert has it guaranteed aside from The Pit.

I like Martyr Wraps. It is also quite fun to desecrate Mystera for a JJ CA, which then clears the effects of the desecration. :)

Finding Burndarayz a little late didn't hurt me much as I was doing Wonafyt and killing slowed monsters for a little extra experience. Once I got the fireballs it let me go after SMM. High HP monsters always give me the jitters, but he went down fairly easily with the corrosion from the martyr gauntlets. I kept hitting him and using blood pools to heal. Eventually used some fireballs to kill him at level 8.

Of course I totally forgot there was going to be a second boss. I hadn't tripped over him and he was in this little patch of black space that I had left.

Luckily he wasn't very difficult. I was in MA with a bunch of piety left so I upped the fireball strength and only needed 3 XP to go to level 9. Still had inaccessible blackspace which I used with Bludtopowa as well.

Not a fast time and average stats...but it was fun.

Found LEMMISI early and that also made me find BURNDAYRAZ fairly early. Found the Goo boss before SMM (actually, ToG was dead by the time I even found SMM's lair :) ). JJ synergizes nicely with B2P and offsets Bloodmage's reduced mana (though there is a real competition for what to do with those Mana Potions, both JJ and the Bloodmage crave them!). Monsters are soft, I wasn't too afraid to get a few stacks of Weakness/Corrosion given the eventual CA wipe, though the exactly two (2) meatmen kind of pulled the rug from under the whole "leaving the dungeon door open for too long" thing...

EDIT: I don't really like Goblins. I get it that they are supposed to be awesome generalists with a built-in deck of get-out-of-jail-free cards, and I still remember THAT hexx ruins run where I kind of screwed myself over and playing a Gob was probably the only reason why I made it in the end, but still - I just don't like them. Maybe I just suck at playing them, I dunno, but I'd pretty much take a Gnome or Elf or Orc any time over them (or, probably, pretty much any other race for that matter... ;) ).
