Good to see you back, MTaur.

Today's daily was pretty fun. JJ for large bars, Mystera for some magic goodness and Dracul for mop up was extremely satisfying (I took conjunction, not sure which god was extra). I am rather surprised to see such a low winrate, but it is still early.

You have to have already completed a Vicious dungeon just to have had any practice at all. I don't know what proportion of the players have done that so far. You need a lot of long-term strategy just to be semi-competent at Rat Monarch, and it's easy to not internalize everything right away. It's easy to forget about the refills-on-shop. I actually got excited and bought Mage Plate almost immediately without using the perk for anything. (At least I remembered that the drawback was negligible for this class)

I actually was worried about stretching the resources far enough with three bosses. The gold spikes helped a lot with shopping for them, and Dracul was also a big deal. Without Dracul, it would have been a lot harder, and I definitely wouldn't have gone Unstoppable.

I still have a hard time with rats more than with most. The health penalty is a huge barrier to getting momentum. And it is sometimes difficult to spam glyphs for real benefit - things that you can't kill yet will just heal it all back, and you won't always have HALPMEH.

HALPMEH is good for building the stacks. PISORF is optimal for killing with them. It's true that you don't really regen fight in the usual sense, but HALPMEH still helps you stack the most stacks. I guess you could CYDSTEP and hardcore convert everything else, but that might not be worth it.

I guess one stack-builder and one finisher is probably best. If you intend to use PISORF, leave BURNDAYAZ on the ground until you're sure you can push the boss into things.

Only managed to beat Tinker's Top XP Score by a little, by using Imawal on the 3 bosses.

http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.c ... 59B615C78/

I wasted potential XP, the 4 to 5 ding may not have been necessary and probably I could have used purchases to push for an earlier first boss kill at level 4. This and also the fact that I converted off both Weytwuts and the Wonafyt early and hence lost out on quite a bit of potential XP when mopping up. I did finish off all mobs, so the higher XP score isn't really that awesome in comparison.

Probably, taking Vampiric Blade instead of Dragon Shield and making use of Lifesteal, and earlier conversion to Dracul is another possible way to save on health and go for earlier boss kills and higher XP.

Usually I try to go Parched and Unstoppable if it's not too hard, but not with this race and map. Probably the hardest Normal dungeon out there, or at least the most frustrating. Drank like a pirate and left without mopping up. It's one of those dungeons that put me in a bad mood.
