I'm surprised I held top XP for so long, and also that I'm still holding top time by a whopping 5 minute margin. I guess this was just one of those days.

As for the Wicked Guitar, it's especially well-suited to this scenario. The Dragonspawn are really the only reliable form of blood cow; the Shades and Bandits all have interactions with the curse world transition and can't be "harvested" reliably, while Animated Armors can only be used as blood cows under rare circumstances and Thralls are of course bloodless. This means getting the Dragonspawn that are available to the right level is really beneficial. The additional difficulty isn't actually bad either. You're immune to the secondary effects of Thralls so beating through them isn't too hard if you have blood cows, Shades are nastiest for their secondary effect which has already been triggered anyways if they're tagged by the Wicked Guitar, and Animated Armors don't gain an additional layer of DP so they don't take much more resources to take down. Altogether, this is probably one of the more ideal situations for the Wicked Guitar.

Human Monk in Hexx Ruins
Venom Ward as a prep, Whurrgarbl and Platemail in the shop pool, and Super Meat Man as the second boss. As close to ideal as the scenario could possibly get.

Aaaaand I angered Taurog by not watching my piety.
It'd be over if it hadn't been a Human Monk with favorable items... :?

I wanted to go mono-Taurog with simply no regard to XP-maxing or anything, just plow through the map with +Damage and +%resists. That said, I did not prep Conjunction, and he did not spawn. So I did a mono-JJ run instead, landing my early kills with B2P+Fireball that was outrageous thanks to JJ Boosted Health, and then switched over to melee once blackspace ran out (& B2P started to be less ridiculous anyway). Didn't bother with TT and deliberately stayed away from the Platemail (which is awesome, but I was afraid I'd make a popcorn-stubble mistake given its slow strike).

Made mistakes but it was still done at the end of the day. (Like, I accidentally skipped L4, it's a pity because it's one of my favorite levels... :( ).

Well, I got top XP and Piety, but just by a small margin for both.

But, it was risky, now that I look back at it. I almost lost, yes. Because, in the end, I only had 3 health potions for Stheno. And if not for Wonafyt, I wouldn't be able to deliver the killing blow to her. See, I had converted off Burndayraz, when I should have kept it for Stheno.

And before taking on her, there was 1 last Revenant left, I had burned off all my mana potions for casting Imawal when mopping up. I had 6 mana left. Kept Imawal because I thought I needed it to be able to make the ding before CA, but turns out I only needed 10 XP to ding and that was just nice from killing the boss. I almost wanted to cast Imawal on the last Revenant before killing Stheno but did not since the extra 5 XP would be wasted anyway (since I am taking CA). Luckily, I had that 6 mana left to be able to cast Wonafyt.

Seriously, I would cry big time if I had messed this up just because of trying to go for top XP. Need to remind myself to do some calculation for future runs and be sure I have enough resources for the last boss (if not for Monk, normally, other classes would have much higher damage and be able to kill Stheno. Good lesson for me today).

*Goblin Warlord, Ick Swamp*

There are nice mobility glyphs for this run, but the layout is still annoying to get through. It was such that I just went on a gardening spree and had to burn one of each potion at level 1. It was smooth sailing after that.

This was a strange daily for me. I smacked Bleaty to death and killed Itsssamna purely with fireballs (a first for me, considering I didn't even lower his magic resist). Otherwise a fun daily.

*Rat Monarch, Rock Garden*

:( Another streak gone.
Poor resource management coupled with miskeys (using the shortcut for WONAFYT when I wanted PISORF) was my undoing. I also probably started on the bosses too early.
