Wow that was annoying. Thank goodness Rock Garden lends itself to a shop buyout, because the dungeon layout today is unforgiving if you don't find PISORF early to punch some holes.

I always used to hate the Rat Monarch, but I've actually really enjoyed the last two runs. Healing from shopping really makes seemingly unwinnable situations become possible. Today I thought it was all over for a while after getting to the bosses, but ended up comfortable enough once I remembered shopping... I left one level 9 golem after being daft though. Left it one hit away from death, but I'd forgotten to drink my Schadenfreude potion on the last hit which would have finished it off!

I didn't actually use PISORF at all for my run and cast a lot of WONAFYT early. Sounds like I got lucky to not get cut off, since I was close a couple of times.

@Tinker I see we managed to have no preparation items in common today.

Also, my Dracul prep replaced JJ, in case someone was interested. Even without Bear Mace, there were still plenty of fun ways to survive. With my preps, Vampiric Blade was a quick steal in the shop, WONAFYT helped with a bit of declogging, PISSORF in the absence of Bear Mace helped quite a bit, and even HALPMEH was available (but with me worshipping the vamp dude, I didn't want/need to use it). Definitely a lot tougher than the previous Rock Garden Rat run, but still quite doable with careful play.

EDIT: With the preps I selected, my favourite Rat item was in store too, Horatio's beloved trophy. ;)

Top XP and Piety for the moment, both not by much.

I guess it was down to the choice of items bought that made the difference, seeing that I went in with the same preps as Tinker. Really, in the end, the Platemail and Tower Shield helped tons to save health when mopping up which would otherwise be really difficult. Only 3 shops left: Whurrgarbl, Dwarven Gauntlets and Agnostic's Collar (the last 2 being expensive and hence were left out).

That above and also the fact that I went over to GG for extra mileage... I just made use of him for 2 extra XP from successful Weytwut casts (I got lucky for the second one where I took the risk and used it on a Golem with 40% MR, there was also an L2 mob left that I could use Weytwut on otherwise).

Prepping Mystera cost me JJ? Well, that stinks. Oh well, I made it through in the end.

I perished, :( It was a misclick but luckily that was after the bosses, :P

http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.c ... F6BDF8656/

Was just messing around trying to max piety (XP not so much because I already lost out by not having JJ's CA). Forgot I had lowish health and just smacked an L7 goat. I had Platemail which gave slow strike. Anyway, I don't remember but probably around 20 thereabouts worth of XP left at most from remaining mobs.

I used Imawal 8 times, stoning all the goats in the Sub. But missed out using it on the first boss kill, was out of mana potions and with 6 mana left, no means to heal up to tank a hit, I could only choose to fireball Evolvia to death without first casting Imawal.

@Tinker: Btw, the extra glyph should be Wonafyt, if you look at smuglapse's screenshot, you would see that the Weytwut he mentioned is actually a Wonafyt glyph.

Also, isn't it clear from his screenshot, the 3 default gods are Binlor, Dracul and Taurog? Your prepped JJ replaced Dracul to give you remaining Binlor and Taurog, so not sure what you are asking there, :P
