Obligatory "I got Top XP for the moment" post, :) Don't really have time to even do dailies during the weekdays much less say try to go for top XP and succeed.

EM, Imawal, TT, Learning, nuff said, :)

It's all about the XP, so piety had to suffer - normally, I would try to altar hop around, and today presents a good combo, could have stopped by Taurog to convert all glyphs, and leave EM's altar behind to squeeze out more piety from bloodpools after all kills. Instead, I just choose to desecrate both of them (in fact, I desecrated 1 of them to get Learning L4 before desecrating the other so could have squeezed out a little more XP).

Recently I've found low XP runs to be intriguing. - I don't go out of my way to do it, but when the opportunity presents itself it could be quite stimulating, and often forces me to change how I think about certain deities and class combinations.

TL;DR: Dracul Goblin Monk in Halls of Steel is quite fun.

I'm dying to get Top XP and Piety, :D

XP could have been higher if I didn't have to suicide myself against a barbing bush - I just knew I would be screwed up by something, should have kept the burndayraz. Enough gold to buy 2 more items (1 from potion shop). And also could have taken Spirit Pact earlier before starting to convert stuff.

Played slow and steady because Goblin Monk is not my favorite combo, and Halls of Steel has lots of anti-Monk monsters. It's easy if you find the Orb of Lusory early, otherwise it can get dangerous. Prepping Mystera was a wonky choice (lots of magic monsters in HoS), but I went with it because I really wanted guaranteed piety. Got Magic + Mystic Balance, and then had to carefully ration my piety to switch to Earthmother. The presence of HALPMEH near the start point and a midgame discovery of the Orb (it's in the middle SE portion of the map) sealed my victory.

Stone Sigil and Dragon Soul were the all star shop purchases. With all of those magic monsters, I needed everything I could get to escape from Mystera.

I prepared GG just because I felt like I want to play GG Paladin. With HALPMEH it was nice how it changed every (non-popcorn) Revenant into +2 piety.

Dwarf Monk in Eastern Tundra
BLUDTUPOWA and BURNDAYRAZ, and Mystera are within a few steps of the dungeon entrance. With Avatar's Codex as a prep and an absurd amount of HP to fuel B2P, this was meant to be. I fireball spammed the whole way through the level, making physical attacks only to clean up popcorn. It was strangely satisfying to destroy BlahBlah with a barrage of fireballs.

The other glyphs are HALPMEH, APHEELSIK, and GETINDARE.
