Note for myself:
I did see Tinker's guide for VGT rat
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3271&start=170#p37606 and eastless's youtube video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ginOMGfU4GIBut tried a couple of times with rat, I'm not so good at conserving blackspaces at leveling phase. My blackspaces depletes arount tower 3; that's obviously a game over. I think I have some problem with choosing a target and recognizing when to stop corroding and finish. Also, doublekills via knockback. Long story short, I'm bad at rat-ing. I think I should watch the video again.
According to wiki's shop spawn page, since I will prep quest items, priorities of chance to spawn is following: FireHeart, HerosHelm, BattlemageRing, VenomSword, Whurrgarbl, VampiricBlade, Platemail, MartyrWraps, AgnosticsCollar, StoneSigil, MidasGlove, BlueBead, BalancedSword, etc. Items that I won't use anyway under the priorities, FireHeart, HeroesHelm, BattlemageRing, VenomSword, Whurrgarbl, MartyrWraps, AgnosticsCollar, would be veto'd.
For goat, I check William's win
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3018&p=40436#p40428 to see boons he selected: Magic, Humility, Protections, Blood Shield, Taurog's Armour, Blood Thites, Stone Fist.
He didn't take body pact nor consensus before H, but he had full resists. That makes perfect sense. So I don't need body pact even if I can't farm piety under Taurog.
eastless says immunities are a MUST and prepping alter is actually helpful.

viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3419&p=39079Luck plays definetely a big role for a goat, but it seems doable. As many guys say goat is actually not so bad. I can't imagine goat being easier than a gorgon, but surely will be much easier than a rat anyway.
