* Orc Tinker in the Creeplight Ruins *

Pretty easy, there were a lot of cultists/shades out today though. Elite items got me all but two of them (Yendor and Wicked Guitar).

Easy run. It really shows how powerful Orc conversion bonus is when your first kill is 4th level Zombie without taking any boons (or using expendables). Top XP currently.

* Gnome Fighter in Creeplight Ruins 2: Anoobis Boogaloo *

Anoobis and stairs (other than the secret one) were hiding on me today. Still an easy run though.

Was too tired and went to sleep first, remembering to set the alarm. But, still, I went back to bed after turning off the alarm went it sounded. Long story short: Missed yesterday's daily due to exhaustion.

That's the 4th time I missed a daily due to oversleeping, etc. (the 4th recorded one that is, there should be a few more times I missed dailies before I started to record them down).

Got top XP with EM's help. Vemb's top piety score looks pretty hard to beat, , :)

A bit of things not going well recently with the losses in dailies and missing some of them. I guess I am also becoming rusty with lack of practice in Vicious maps especially VGT. Busy with work, hope I can manage my time well and maintain my love for this game.

Hang in there, mister. Too rusty for VGT and able to enjoy all the other aspects of the game are vastly different in my book. I *hate* VGT because of how differently it plays, but I love all the other dungeons.

And I know how it feels to be swamped with real life. I could never maintain a decent win streak on dailies for the longest time because real life was kicking my ass. I'm just now coming back from a ~9 month haitus, with a vengeance, getting my longest streak at 21 thus far. It seems that after quitting for all that time, the most important lessons I learned from my losses a long time ago have stuck with me: if Fireball Magnet is an available prep, TAKE IT.

Gorgon in Venture Cave

Venture Cave is as easy as expected. Picked up a venomous dagger fairly late, but it made regen fighting all the high level stuff easy.

I include Magnet in the class of preps that can get me out of a hard spot being blocked by level 3s/4s as a level 1 - my last loss was something similar to this nature last year. It sure isn't a Slayer Wand, and will usually involve potion chugging, but at least it's something.
