*SPOILERS* Dailies Thread

During the last chemist run I was thinking about how their potion ability has such poor synergy with the class, as they're largely built to be a magic fighter. That of course is well known, but it occurred to me that the thief potion ability would have been perfect for them. At which point I started thinking of what would happen if those abilities were swapped. And the conclusion has to be that the thief would rock that ability, because they're not a synergistic generalist like the chemist... the strength of their generalize is in the flexibility to specialize, and the chemist potions are rocket fuel for that.

To which I'll simply argue that Chemists are supposed to be a more challenging class, and Thief is meant to be a simple straight-forward class.

Newbie low-experience players are supposed to play Thief and do good things, instead of dealing with the vastly difficult healthform/manaform.

This isn't about making Chemists easy... it's about the fact that that ability is so out of harmony that changing it to "potions don't do anything" wouldn't have much affect on how they get played. Thief potions would make them a bit easier, but that's not the point... that ability would at least acknowledge what Chemists are.

I wouldn't have a problem with Chemists having that ability and becoming easier. I just have a huge problem with making Thief hard - it's an introductory class. Speaking of Thieves....

Ugh, so mad. My 34 win streak ended because I my hand slipped and I right clicked on the wrong thing when I had to clear all the mana burn plants to get to the boss.

Horrible horrible mouse , I would have crashed it so hard today if I had lost due to it,

Luckily, I was already 1 hit shy of killing the boss else the disaster that is getting inventory wipe due to piety dropping to 0 with GG would have made me super mad at my wonky mouse. Was going to convert a potion, ended up drinking it.
