Gnome Thief in Slime Pits

Dear Diary,
Today I ventured into the Slime Pits. There were lots of nasty monsters. I had to rely on my wits, and the gifts - and curses - of a mischievous patron. I learned a lot, and also found beautiful shiny coins and some rare artifacts. I found a lot of ingredients for my Special Recipe (TM), and I brewed - and drunk - perhaps a bit too many potions; however, I felt that I could learn a lot from how the booze changed my thinking and behavior... I even flirted with some monsters, although as far as I could tell, they did not particularly appreciate my approaches. My patron - perhaps angered by my constant drinking on the job - found it fitting to show his omnipotence by sapping the strength and speed from my arms, which was a bit uncalled for, if you ask me; however, by then I was already rather merry thanks to all the potions I have quaffed, and so I didn't make a big fuss about it.

I didn't have to rely on a patron for cursing... the monsters did enough of that. Instead I brought in Binlor and a mace, and proceeded to destroy the place.

*Rat Monarch in Western Jungle*

Game bugged and didn't allow me to start earlier. Now it says I have already played today, while I haven't. Oh well... That was nice streak.

@Vemb: You seem to be still in the charts, hopefully your run is registered as successful.

Managed to get top XP and Piety, XP only because I made use of EM and got quite a lot more bonus XP from Entanglements.

As for Piety, that's just gods conversion shenanigans. Took a loong time too, was watching TV, doing other stuff at the same time, :P

Orc Fighter in Slime Pits
Quite a number of Slime Pit runs recently. At least this one seemed fairly straightforward. There are some nice preps and also some good building blocks for XP shenanigans.

Pro tip: if you find some stairs just next to the entrance... You'll probably be like, hey, lucky me, found the sub right away... But try to remember whether you prepped Smuggler's Den, because otherwise you'll be chasing that last Mana Booster all over the place (true story...).

Actually, all the Slime Pit runs recently have all been straight forward... Gnome Thief of Binlor did PISORF spam, and the Human Transmuter took out SMM in like 6 hits (and a couple consecrated ones wrecked Goo's day). This one was probably the least straight forward of the three (I was all over the place... did some poison regen, fireballed Goo down, melee'd SMM). Something nasty must be brewing...

* Gorgon in the Labyrinth *

... but (surprise!) it wasn't this. Because Binlor was there for me again (in the preps), and the two of us have similar opinions on Labyrinths. As do Gorgons.

Made a horrible mistake today, angered TT very early and I thought I was done for the daily.

Luckily, Crystal Ball in the shop helped me to beat the bosses, I had like 32 stacks of Weakness at the end, :P Also felt a little weird to me that I was basically playing as a "mage", quaffing mana potions, spamming fireballs, refilling mana via crystal ball, level up, GG's protections boons so as to be able to throw more fireballs at the bosses.
