So is 'two bosses' code for...

Play a mage with piercing rod? Short of worshipping Mystera Annur and wiping resistance, there seems to be no viable way to play a non-warlord melee class in dungeons that feature two bosses, each resistant to a different flavor of damage. Melee lacks a tool like the piercing wand, and i find unless you have immense durability (warlord) it's nigh impossible to kill some of the bosses in this game. There's the really big sword, but not only is the passive crippling (especially to the low durability, high damage classes that need it the most [rogue, assassin]), but it doesn't even grant full damage penetration.

Am I missing something?

Seriously, I've never beaten the Rock Garden with anything but a sorcerer.

I'm actually quite confident that I can beat like 80% of the game with an elven transmuter. I think I beat one of the bosses at level 4.

It is really easy with an elf paladin. Use halpmeh for magic res, then convert and use burndayraz on magic res.
Also I beat it with a berserker with RBS
We made an expansion and it is awesome. Really, you should check it out, especially if you're looking for some extra challenge.

What about the level with the three bosses, Hurr Durr and Herp or something? I can't even transmute my way through that one. Not enough walls :<

My suggestion is elf paladin with dragon shield and whupaz+schaudenfraud. Go for physical boss first. When he dies it reduces the other to one hp so a fireball should easily take him out. The 3rd boss is very easy as long as you save some resources.

I've beaten Rock Garden with a Berserker casting Fireballs on the physical resistant boss, though I had to buy some caster items to help.

Now, if there was a vicious dungeon with two bosses of different resistance, maybe it would be a problem.

I've beaten Doubledoom with every class except wizard and priest (which is more apathy on my part towards those classes than any inability to complete this dungeon). I couldn't disagree with your sentiments more.

Gone through Doubledoom with every class as well. Admittedly there were some cases where it's just impossible to complete it (Fighter vs Bleaty without CYDSTEPP or other useful equipment), but overall it's not too bad.
