Some questions regarding the future of classes

Hi.

I'm pretty new to this game and I'd be happy if someone enlightened me a bit about the possible upcoming classes. I've played the beta version for a few days now and that blank space around the list of victorious classes per dungeon keeps me puzzled. I read, for example, DD wiki's brainstorming section to find some very interesting ideas for new classes, but I haven't found answers to these questions yet:

- Are any of the remaining special classes from alpha coming to the final version (like half-dragon or gorgon)?
- How many classes in total are being planned for the final version?

Plus, can we expect to play with new races in the future?

EDIT: Ehh, removed one question as I just found out that vampires ARE in the game now...
