Before the addition of the second boss, I was able to squeak by using a halfling with the Orb of Zot preparation (almost required because it messes up barbarians' berserk thresholds) and finding the trisword and a Taurog altar on the near side of the wall. This requires incredible luck, and is a very grind-y and unfun thing to do. Even worse, you now have to worry about the second boss being Bleaty, which makes the scenario unwinnable (not difficult, but instead, literally impossible).
Honestly, given the current state of the game and how unenjoyable it is to scum for hours on end, I'd recommend just using a memory editor and cheating your way through this scenario. Games aren't worth playing if they start to feel like work.
