The '''plant''' is one of the [[monsters]] that can be found in Desktop Dungeons, even though it cannot be said to roam. It is not unlocked like other [[monsters]]. It can only appear when worshiping the [[Earthmother]] and using the boon '''Plantation''' that transforms all blood stains into plants.

Having 100% physical resistance, plants cannot be destroyed by brute force. On the other hand, having 0% attack, they cannot hurt you. They can easily be destroyed with [[BURNDAYRAZ]], but if you are still worshiping the [[Earthmother]] when doing that, you will be severely punished: ''The Earthmother will NOT tolerate the needless destruction of plants. (-15 piety)''.

The least painful way to get rid of plants is to turn them into stone with [[IMAWAL]] (''The Earthmother witnessed what you did there. How droll. (+3 piety)'') and destroy the wall with [[ENDISWAL]] (''A follower of the Earthmother should not be carving from her womb. (-5 piety)''). This leaves you with a deficit of -2 piety, but since each plant created with '''Plantation''' gave you 10 piety, the balance is still positive at +8 piety.

'''Plants''' can be really problematic when they block all your possible paths, so care should be taken before requesting the '''Plantation''' boon.
