Each physical attack on monsters must be weighed against all of them gaining 2% {{t|Death-gaze}} permanently. {{s|BURNDAYRAZ}} is crucial for damaging monsters without raising their Death-gaze. {{s|BYSSEPS}} is useful for getting the most out of your physical attacks and cheaply raising your dodge chance.

{{i|Witchalok Pendant}} and {{i|Keg Of Mana}} are potentially strong purchases, along with {{i|Fortitude Tonic}} after Justar is defeated. Keep in mind Justar's {{t|Riposte}} both Weakens you ''and'' activates Death-gaze.
