Monster Traits
Bewitch
When damaged, applies X stack of Bewitched on the player, which increases mana costs by 2 until you've cast glyphs an equal number of times to the stacks of Bewitched afflicted. Note that these stacks are not accumulating, if a monster, for example, has Bewitch: 5, then you can only ever have as high as 5 stacks from that monster.
Chaotic
When damaged, randomly teleports the player to an empty space in the dungeon, similar to a monster's Blinks trait.
Corrupting Aura
When damaged, subtracts X amount of piety from the player. If you cannot pay it, then take X extra damage from the monster's attack. Note that Corrupting Aura damage is counted as a second hit, so it can bypass Death Protection if HP is low enough.
Crazed Regeneration
Regens 999 HP per tile revealed.
Ensnare
Strikes apply X amount of Ensnared on the player, and regens 1 tile's worth of HP per strike/cast. When ensnared, all monsters will regen 1 tile's worth of HP per strike/cast as Ensnare monsters naturally do.
Essence Drain
When revealed, the monster will drain X% of your mana bar, similar to Life Steal. Drained mana is converted into stacks that increase the monster's attack damage, and will decay by 1 every time they attack you, gradually lowering their attack to its natural value.
Frostbite
Monster's attacks apply X stacks of Frostbite. Frostbite increases the damage of the next hit you take by X amount, like Corrosion, and lower your regen by 1 point no matter how many stacks you have. Being damaged by a non-frostbiting monster will cure all stacks after they apply the extra damage, but monsters with Frostbite will simply do more and more damage until you are stuck by something else.
Frozen Blood
Monster does not regen, and takes doubled damage from BURNDAYRAZ.
Massive
Monster can not be pushed or teleported.
Protective Blessing
Buffs all monsters in a 5x5 radius centered on itself with X% Protected. Does not include itself.
Protected
Functions as X% physical AND magical resist, stacking on top of existing resistances. Important to note that magic resist granted by this only applies to fireball damage and poison, it will not protect the monster against IMAWAL, WEYTWUT, or WONAFYTE casts.
Riposte
When damaged, even on killing blow, the monster will retaliate with X% of the damage done to it right back at the player. Important to note that this counts as a second hit that can bypass death protection, and even more deviously, applies debuffs the monster has such as Corrosion or Weakening, potentially applying TWO stacks per round.
Serrated Strike
Monster attacks afflict the player with Bleed, which causes their HP to drain when exploring tiles instead of recover. When the player bleeds down to 1 HP, the affliction is cured and they begin to heal again. If the player takes another attack while bleeding, they are burdened with Exhausted, preventing mana regen until the next time their HP is at 100%.
Unstable
When the monster dies, it explodes, dealing all of its remaining HP as irresistable damage to the player. This damage is a seperate hit to the monster's attack. Knockback can dodge this trait entirely, if the monster dies on a tile that isn't adjacent to the player.
