Monster Infobox

Great suggestion with updating the infobox and the Boss Image looks really good. I'm going through a few playthroughs to get more information on each boss.--Gentlegiant03 20:37, 23 November 2010 (UTC)

  • Heh thanks. I've filled in a lot myself already, but I'm never 100% sure. BTW, what about info on the Campaign monsters/bosses? Is there any point of listing them too? I haven't unlocked it yet... *blush*.
  • Also if you need any graphical work, that's right up my alley, so don't be afraid to just ask. I love that sort of stuff. --Headrock 21:07, 23 November 2010 (UTC)
    • Sorry, I missed these posts... talking about graphical stuff if you've unlocked the Vampire or Crusader classes they could use a larger image. I had just used the larger character images on the upper-right and made the BG transparent (I had to use a guide to figure out how to do it :/). You can tell where I made mistakes on deleting the top layer with the images on the Warlord and Fighter pages (the horns). As far as the bosses of the campaign go I haven't unlocked it either so I'm not sure what they look like. --Gentlegiant03 15:08, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
      • I could generate new pics for all characters if you want, it's pretty simple - especially since the game provides all the pics in workable format. I've unlocked everything already but haven't actually played the campaign yet, but I know from reading the wiki that the bosses should look the same as the ones in the normal dungeons (albeit with their Health massively increased). You get Lord Gobb (Goblin) in the first dungeon, Matron of Flame in the second, and Gharbad the Whoa in the third. I'll confirm as much as I can about that tonight. --Headrock 15:31, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
      • Piece of cake, took 10 minutes including all new Large Glyph images. :P --Headrock 17:50, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
      • I checked out Lothlorien. The bosses I could get to (level 1 and 2) look exactly the same as they do in the regular dungeon. However their names are not the same, and of course they are souped up so their abilities aren't exactly the same either. --Headrock 17:59, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
        • Nice job on the new images. Like I said, I'm not as good with image editors so blowing up the png's packaged with it wasn't a viable option for me (without learning more about GIMP).--Gentlegiant03 02:40, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

Article rating system

Hey Headrock, was thinking about implementing an article rating system. Would be adapted from the DF Wiki except without the proper classes installed it would sit on the top right of each page (but below the title). My thought is that it would help encourage people to increase the article quality as well as how much information they can expect. If we went ahead with it I'd like to think of a good "Rating" scheme, the DF Wiki uses in-game item quality indicators that work really well... could just use "Low, Medium, High", any thoughts?--Gentlegiant03 23:07, 8 December 2010 (UTC)

  • Erm... I'm afraid I don't know much about that. As in, what good that would do, and so forth. This wiki certainly isn't as big as the Dwarf Fortress one, for starters. There aren't lots of edits going on except the ones we're doing. So how will a rating system help?
    • Yeah, I suppose the volume of articles necessitates it there. As stated a few times before most everything here is, for the most part, well documented. Probably just going overboard on wanting to create templates :D... haven't been contributing anything else lately.--Gentlegiant03 05:13, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
