Will we be able to create/use custom tilesets in the full version?

That is something we're looking into, but the full has an order of magnitude more art than the freeware, so it's going to be more difficult than before.

Only one order of magnitude? I am disappoint, dearest Aequitas. I expected at least pi orders of magnitude.

I seriously hope that gods system will be revamped. I liked the way that worked in editions prior 0.1, in 0.14
I finished all classes and challenges almost being atheist (in most ways they give more problems than benefits).
Just bought the 20 bucks special edition, waiting for the closed beta.

PS: Sorry about any bad spelling/grammatical mistakes, I'm not a native English speaker.

If I opt for the cheaper standard edition, will the Gods' see this as an unforgivable sin? Will I forever be damned?

Edit: Is there a secret cow level?

The gods are getting a rebalance, although they're probably not going to move too much closer to their initial incarnations: Those were actually far too powerful. The main thinking around the gods is that they're supposed to change how you play the game in particular ways, not necessarily be essential to success. You should always be able to finish a dungeon as a secular character, gods are there if they align with your particular play-style right now.

That said, yeah, some of them were a little too broken ;)

I'm afraid I can't comment on rumors of a secret farm-animal-related level at this time.

Also, the gods are over the moon at every pre-order :) The cheaper version is like 97.2% identical.

Forgive me if I'm being obtuse, but I am going to get an updated (beta) version of the game if I pre-order now? Or am I just going to be added to the list for when the beta is released? Also, when is the beta going to start?

@ screg : Beta has not been released yet. They are still adding/testing content.
@ QCF : Indeed, it seems that some rephraseing is required to enphazise that the main point of purchasing special versions is to help your development. Here is a comment from bay12games forum :
" I'm not really sure I like what they're doing, especially the most expensive edition (75$ what the hell is this madness) but I guess everyone has the right to profit from their effort. And it is good effort, too"
It comes from a community centered on a game ony fuelled by donations only, so they would not problem with the idea of paying more than the lowest price possible. So that reaction shows that some do indeed fell it as a way to milk users.

Ah ! Things can be complicated sometimes...
