Alchemist Scroll Prist or Rogue. Orc is it's rogue, halfling if it's priest. Also, a Taurog berserker will easily carry you through VHoS. WIth 5 Damage reduction, 65% magic res, and the fact that DP's lower attack, the Indomitable is a pushover. That leaves Blah Blah, who is a cakewalk between potions, DP's, and Whupaz.

Taurog Berserker huh? I used EM for mine but I can see how taurog would work. As an added bonus I could probably prep him. That reminds me, anyone else bummed that damage reduction is applied before resistances? If it was applied after there'd be some interesting builds which could mix the two.

Yeah, including making it possible for a 75 damage boss not to hurt you.

I'm updating the dungeon page, and I'm about to go into individual pages. Can anyone rip boss sprites? You can leave the level 10 on there, just get rid of the background tile. If someone does that much, I can finish the rest.

Oh yeah, here's a fun fact: The northern region has one less dungeon than all others, excluding the central.

edit: I still have the buff when I convert out of MA into TT. Maybe it's implementation was changed, was it always a buff?

Okay, so it now persists post-conversion. Good to know; I can stop being paranoid about converting out of MA's religion now.

I've been looking at that run, and I've been wondering if you might have had enough piety to go with GG, grab absolution, convert some items, and still jump ship to Tikki Tooki. If you'd found them earlier, getting absolution, humility, and poison would have been godly...

I was thinking about that but absolution wouldn't really do much for me since I had no health potions. Humility would have been nice, I would have had to be a bit more careful with IMAWAL but I think I might have squeezed another level of xp out of those mobs.

The problem with humility was that you found GG too late to really leverage it. You're probably right about absolution, and even if you did have healing potions left they would have probably been better spent on Tikki Tooki's reflex boon.

Speaking of which, I probably will do a Halfling Tikki Tooki Trisword Tinker run on Naga City when I next get the chance. Nothing says "munchkin" quite like a +40 damage trisword... with half your potions still intact.
