Just did Sorcerer Gold - It was A LOT easier than the Silver version. Maybe they could be swapped?

I suggested the very thing when I beat gold funnily enough. Although, if you want to make that gold challenge as hard as the wizard gold, just switch the bosses!


Got Ssseth down to 200 hp. I'm pretty sure this is impossible. That took me 2 hours.

I JUST BEAT SSSETH! I played a Goblin Paladin, to get to level 5 ASAP. I got to level 5, found BYCEPS and Ssseth with about half the board remaining. I took Plantation, got 9 levels of Vine Form, and bought the Martyr Wraps. I hit level 6, got a few levels of clearance for extra tiles, and began whittling down his resists. I had him at 29% resists and 24 corrosion, because I took 2 levels of Greenblood early on, when I leveled up to level 7 and threw down my fortitude tonic to begin the fight. Just use BYCEPS before every attack to whittle the resists further. With all of my potions I got him to one hit. Fortunately, through converting both HALPMEH and BICEPS I reached level 8 and killed him. I only bought a fine sword in addition to what's stated above.

For piety: Stone all level 8 and 9 monsters, and all 7's that are bad types (Goo Blob, Naga). To get two "Free" Greenbloods, pick up 5 sparkles and then worship. 10 piety is two greenbloods. Make sure you don't pick up more than 5 sparkles or you will waste them when you destroy plants. Take Entanglement frequently for popcorn and plants, and be sure to make sure a plant is slowed before you hit it. (i. e. The plants spawned by entanglement will not be slowed!)

Just be patient, DON'T RUSH, and hope you get lucky!

Yeah, he only got life steal on me at level one. He's REALLY easy.

Yeah, lifesteal is only triggered when you "explore" the tile that the enemy is on. Teleporting into view does nothing, the thing to watch out for is the enemy teleporting to a dark tile and you have to re-explore him triggering another lifesteal.
