Do we need to private message you for this or will it be uploaded here?

The game will be openly uploaded and available for everyone to play for a few days (even those who haven't pre-ordered the beta).

It's a single-state, stripped-down selection of the stuff you'll be finding in the proper game, and mainly serves as an early way for people to sample (and give feedback) on the core game systems. And hopefully bugs will be limited, but hey, we thought we'd let people preview at least SOMETHING. ;)

So the demo deactivates somehow after the few day period and can't be played anymore?

This is a great idea!

I'm glad QCF takes suggestions from their players to heart.

The demo will be playable in the browser using the Unity Web Player. The page that it's on will go down after E3.

Assuming we're using Firefox, will it automatically prompt us to download that web player, or will we have to do it ourselves?

Firefox should automatically detect that you need Unity, if you don't already have it.
Have you ever played a Blurst game? Those all use Unity.

I am not using Unity web player (the flash is more than enough thank you very much) and will never be, so it's more wait for me.

Ah well.
