Definitely a helpful suggestion! But I'm extra concerned if it's flummoxing experienced players, particularly those who have presumably run through the puzzle packs before (often more than once).
The issue is that you can get very
close to the intended solution without happening on the exact sequence necessary. Gnome 3 unfortunately straddles being too exploitable with being too obscure. I'm personally of the opinion that it's better to be too exploitable; if someone is crafty enough to come up with a work-around that actually demonstrates good use of the glyphs and features at hand, then I say let them have the puzzle win even if it's not the solution you were going for.
Was there some Gnome 3 puzzle exploit still in existence until recently that I somehow missed out on? I distinctly remember plugging a few reported gaps before, thought I'd had them all.
Last time I played gnome 3 would have been about two months ago when I made my most recent new kingdom.
