Well, at least we all seem to agree regarding hoarder and the three "easy" badges at the bottom and that hoarder belongs on top. Avatar didn't put miser in his list, but otherwise the only difference between his list and mine is that he values faithless a little higher. I think we're closing in on a scoring mechanism.
As for other possible scoring aspects (remember, the endscreen has extra stats):
1 pt per 5 bonus exp
-1 pt per 25 wasted tiles
-1 per used other potion
I wouldn't want to make value judgments on the first two. Bonus XP, for all the emphasis we place upon it, is a means to an end and not the goal itself (and really, the Ding! Max badge already gives it some scoring presence). I don't want to make a value-judgment on wasted tiles, especially since the most likely cause of wasted tiles is not being able to locate a glyph during early exploration. "Other potions" are already effectively penalized since they will disqualify you from either purist or miser, which are worth at least 3 points each.
I don't remember the unlock order, but I doubt I could get that exact list without also unlocking Goo Blobs or some other monster that I don't really want.
Goo Blobs come from the Warlord, Bandits come from the Assassin, Dragonspawn come from the Paladin, and Golems from the Bloodmage. Wraiths from the Berserker, Gorgons from the Rogue, Serpents from the Monk, and Goats from the Sorcerer.
I think this strategic unlock is totally doable.
I'd still much rather do Warmonger than Hoarder or Purist. And you can't forget that doing Warmonger means you'll get Specialist.
And I'd much rather do Hoarder/Purist together than Warmonger. Preference, I suppose.
Specialist and Cheeky are pretty damn easy. I was debating whether to make them worth
half a point each <_<
