Suggestion - Need Trophies.

I'm enjoying DD beta so much.
However, there is something missing, compared with the alpha.
It's the trophies.

In alpha, the effort for winning dungeons with different classes has paid.
I had more gold, more chests, better items, hidden characters..
In beta, there are way more dungeons, and it's really good.
But no trophies winning them, except the quest worth 250 gold, and it is totally useless when you leveled up every building.

I wrote the topic (Monk - Glowing Garden Strategy too strong) .
Once i found this special, strong combination and beat all dungeons with it, there's just no more contents to play.
But in alpha, it was fun to challenge all dungeons with different characters developing my own, unique strategy.
Beating the factory's super meat man with wizard.. wow. I really liked that challenge.
Why did you get rid of all this fun ?
Of course I can challenge each dungeon by myself, but there's no as strong motivation as alpha gave me.
Even more, there is no record that I had beaten the level with certain character.

Plus, every time I beat the level I get badges, and I hope there's some usage of them in the original game .
At least for Achievements.

I think it really needs to be made more clear that the game isn't finished yet.

What a useless comment. We not supposed to discuss anything because the game is in beta? Or what else was your point?

Ideas for trophies and badges might be helpful ;)

We're definitely planning to add all sorts of achievements and progression-style unlocking quests, we just don't want to make the game too grindy.

The game is about beating dungeons, so beating dungeons does not necessarily count as grinding. The beta already has a lot more dungeons than the freeware, so making people beat all the dungeons with all the classes would be too much of course. Encouraging redoing a dungeon with different classes seems hard though. Once you have upgraded everything kingdom gold is pretty easy to get, so it's not really a relevant reward.

Maybe a progression like in the freeware could work, except it wouldn't involve specific challenges, but specific difficulty levels. You could get +1 or +2 average gold in the dungeon for every class that beat any hard level for example. One glyph detected for every 3 classes that beat any vicious dungeon. Gold you can take into the dungeon with you increased by 1 for every class that beat any normal dungeon. Stuff like that.

Edit: I just noticed revealing glyphs overlaps with the wizard ability. Not sure what a good bonus for beating vicious dungeons would be.

See, if someone complains that they ran out of content to do in the game (e.g "I don't have anything to do with my money"), then it's legitimate to reply that yes, content is still being worked on.

And any comment must be made with the knowledge that future content is being added. Right now Gods are very reliable and game-breaking, but once ALL the deities, all the items and etc have made it in, can you GURANTEE that you will get your perfect combo of gods and items?

You can certainly comment on what you think are game balance issues etc but it really does need to be tempered with some future sight.

Let's see (not all of these are really that hard. As its nice for new players to get something fairly easy to obtain)

Experienced - Reach level 10
Very Experienced - Reach level 10 with 50(ish?) extra XP
Many faces - Unlock every race
Many abilities - Unlock every class
Many paths - Unlock every god
? - Complete the intro dungeon for each class
Polytheistic - Warship 3 gods in a single dungeon
It's Hard - Beat a hard dungeon
Not quite impossible - Beat a vicious dungeon
Altruism - Finish a dungeon with 100 pieity without spending piety, or desecrating an alter.
Well poisoned - Get poisoned 20 times (must not be already poisoned to count)
Well burned - Get mana burned 20 times (must not be already mana burned).
How low can you go - Beat the dungeon boss at level 5
Good health - obtain 150 or more max HP
Mana battery - obtain 30 or more mana
Well bricked - Gain 50(?) bonus XP from turning enemies to stone.
Challenge seeker - only kill monsters that are higher level than you.
Cha-Ching -Have 100 or more gold while adventuring.
? - Beat a dungeon with 10 or more stacks of weakness
Learning is half the battle - After damaging the boss, gain 2 levels without letting the boss reach full health.
For great speed - Beat a dungeon in under 5 minutes
Full clear - kill every monster above ground
Conversion master - gain 1000 conversion points
Don't strike first - Hit a monster that has first strike while you have first strike

Class challenges (must be completed on normal or harder dungeons):
Fighter - Beat the dungeon boss at level 6
Berserker - Beat the dungeon without killing anything above your level
Warlord - Beat the dungeon while getting mana burned at least 15 times
Thief - Beat the dungeon without collecting any power ups
Rogue - Beat the dungeon with at least 130 health
Assassin - Kill 20(?) monsters lower level than you
Priest - Beat the dungeon killing no undead, and using no health potions
Monk - Beat the dungeon with maximum physical and magic resistance
Paladin - Beat the dungeon without killing anything below your level
Wizard - Beat the dungeon with a full set of Taurog's gear.
Sorcerer - Beat the dungeon while destroying 30 walls
Bloodmage - Beat the dungeon without recovering any health from exploration.

Wait, It's A Misclick! - Died when the boss is killed and the way back is clear.
Invictus - Trigger death protection four times in a row.
Whew That Was Close - Killed the boss with a physical attack while he reduced your Health to less than 5. Without using death protection.
Got This All Planned Out - Getting hit less than 3 times in a successful dungeon trip.
Some Like It Hot - Casting 12 fireballs in a row without physical attack and revealing map tiles.
No Wall Left Behind/Wait This Is Not Minecraft - Cleared more than 80% wall blocks.
Master of Arms - Wielding four weapons at the same time.
Juggernaut - Achieve maximum resistance and both poison and mana burn immunity.
Death From Behind - Killed more than 50% monsters (including the boss) with the PISORF spell or the physical equivalent.


Maybe some ultra conversion-related achievement for every race:
Human - Attaaaack!
Elf - It's like that Muppet song
Dwarf - Iron Belly. For Booze.
Halfling - Why can't I hold all these potions?
Gnome - Probably a thousand ways to abuse this.
Orc - So Much Better Than Cup Stacking
Goblin - I Just Love That Sound Effect


Also some if you finish the dungeon with certain race/class combinations:
Human Fighter - Staple Fantasy Hero
Human Monk - Ohhh. So that's how Attack and Damage work eh?
Dwarf Priest - Who said health potions aren't delicious?
Elf Wizard - Obvious Choice
Elf Berserker - Born to be wild
Orc Rogue - Just Kill 'em All


And of course some achievements for the Kingdom:

A Place For My Stuff - Fill up the lockers.
Well Prepared - Go in a dungeon having selected every preparation slot.
